Barber Park

I moved here about 3 months ago and have been battling roaches ever since. They also knew about the roach problem and didn't say anything because when we moved in there was roach powder in the closets, cabinets, and behind the fridge and stove, as well as roach bait around the apartment. I wish they had told us roach poison was in the unit because I got it all over my dishes because I didn't realize it was in our cabinets, so I had to wash everything after moving in. At first we saw about 10 to 20 a day now it's about 2 or 3 a day after we took measures into our own hands. They provide pest control but it wasn't working so I had to go and get my own roach bait and spray, as well as applying my own caulking to cabinets and walls where there were cracks when we figured out where they were coming from. Also, when we moved in the floors were extremely dirty, just walking on the floors for 10 minutes turned out feet completely black. We have mopped and swiffered the floors 8 times and its better but not by much, we still have to wear shoes in the apartment. Other than the roaches and floors everything else is great. There is a lot of space in the unit and the layout is really nice. The amenities are also really great too. The apartment management did reach out to us about our problems already, but they said they couldn't do anything about the floors and that the only thing they could do for the roaches was to provide pest control which wasn't working.

I had the most amazing tour today by Jiovanna Duran she is very professional, friendly and POLITE! She took her time and explained everything very nicely. We don’t see that a lot! I love how the community it’s super nice and quiet and has GREAT amenity’s I will definitely be applying when I get the documents that I need. But I’m sure to call barber park my new home thanks to her.

I would like to thank Jimary, Carmen, & Jordan for making my experience living here so great! They really take care of their tenants and ensure any/all problems are resolved. The maintenance team deserve a raise and more for the work they provide to the community in ensuring its cleanliness and as well ensure unit repairs are completed. Looking forward to continuing my lease here at Barber Park Apartments.

I have been living here for almost 3 years. The staff is nice, from office to the maintenance. The apartments (well at least the two- bedroom I live in) is very spacious and a split floor plan which is great! Rent is also reasonable. However, this place is roach infested. I used their pest control several times, but ended up having to take matters into my own hands by purchasing a roach bait on Amazon. Even the pest control man said my apartment was one of the cleanest he has been in to, so he knows the issue is not about being filthy. The maintenance however does not do a thorough job of clean-up when turning the apartment over. You can place a work-order and either they come next day, or a few days or never show. Unless it has to do with AC. They can do better!
